I must admit I was a bit skeptical to the bike due to the low price and some initial communication problems. However, after having used it every day for almost a year I am stunned. I own close to 10 different kind of bikes but my Dutchie Dapper beats them all (except maybe my Velomobile Quest) when it comes to comfort and reliability. The comfortable riding position and the fully enclosed drive chain makes it a perfect bike for my daily commuting of about 10km in all kinds of weather conditions. It rides like a dream and I don't lack gears either because of the well balanced gearing. It's just fantastic value for the money!

Arrived tuesday exactly as promised, had to set up the gears which were slightly out of adjustment and centre the front brake, otherwise went together without any issues, I have in the past worked as a cycle mechanic and owned many bikes, dont just compare spec sheets, these are exceptionally well made for the money

What can I say that your other customers have not, the 'chic' is a stunning bike and so comfortable, can't believe it took me so long to get one! When I first stepped through the frame I had a panic as the seat seams so close to the handlebars but once seated its the most natural and comfortable position , and at 6ft tall its the first bike I've owned that fits me (Chic 3 Speed Size 2) ! Love it !! would thoroughly recommend one , in fact I already have.

It was great except DHL wouldn't deliver on Saturday nor let me change address so I ended up getting a cab to collect the bike from their depot. Dutchie were great though and when I emailed them to tell them my bell was broken on receipt of bike they shipped a new one for free immediately :-)

I just wanted to say a big thank you for arranging delivery of the Chic 3 speed today 25th Nov. It was a surprise birthday present for my wife and it arrived in perfect condition. It took around half an hour to complete assembly and seconds to adjust the front brake. A complete novice like myself had no problem. The bike is spotless & solidly built (not too light) and my wife absolutely loves it! I am sure she will like the bike even more when she ventures out tomorrow. I took deliver yesterday of my 8 gear Classic, due to torrential rain, I couldn't test drive it :-(( However, this morning with the sun shining we had our maiden journey, and the first person I met passed comment on how beautiful it is and I have to agree. As soon as the order was placed I received a confirmation e mail. I then received an email telling me that the bike would take a week to be dispatched and offered to cancel if this was not convenient (they had promised next day) I was happy with this and it arrived on the day it was supposed to. It needed some assembly and the instructions were emailed. I have been riding the bike two miles to work and back and I have been very happy with it.

The build quality seems excellent, the instructions for assembly very clear, and the Dapper is decidedly dashing! The delivery was next day. The bike was more assembled than I thought it would be and exceeded my expectations. It is strong and sturdy and very rid-able. I would suggest that you get a pro to put the other bits together as i found this harder than I thought and it only cost £25. The back light arrived with a crack and the firm sent a new one immediately without questions. Great bike, great service.
